I Love Picnics!

I really love to have a picnic! If you don't believe me, just take a look at the photos on this page. I can truthfully tell you that these photos represent only a small percentage of the actual number of picnics that I have enjoyed. One of the requirements for traveling with me is you better pack all the necessary equipment: (table cloth, paper plates, plastic cups, eating utensils, condiments, and, of course, an ample amount of food and cold beverages). I do love picnics so much that a short drive around the block is considered a road trip by me, and deserving of finding a shady spot and breaking out the old picnic basket!! A picnic should be almost a religious experience because you are usually right in the middle of God's creations . . . ants, bees, and other critters. By the way, picnics are always cheaper than dining at restaurants. My wife made me add that last sentence since she says that I am a "tight wad". As usual, she is wrong. I do actually prefer a bologna sandwich, potted meat or sardines over caviar, sushi, or escargot!
